Why San Clemente? I’ve often been asked that question since announcing my expansion into this beautiful area. As a northern California native, people have seemed to scratch their heads a bit trying to figure out why I would venture so far for my second location, the answer is simple.
I love Southern California.
What’s not to love? The gorgeous landscape. The sandy beach and salty air. An adorable downtown area. And don’t forget the food! I have been spoiled by living in an area with exceptional food and drink my entire life.
San Clemente has exceeded my expectations in this regard. I have yet to eat a poor meal or be disappointed with what is in my glass.
And, most importantly, the sense of community. It has that same feeling that I have found in Windsor. Neighbors to the end, supporting. Warm and welcoming.
All of this just felt right. I had been on a mission, scouting different areas for months to open a second location, somewhere with that same small-town vibe that I so love about my home. Home is where it’s at for me. And I think I’ve found my second one.
