Why I Created
Roost General Store
I am a Sonoma County native. Born and raised here, I have not strayed far. This is home. It is where my joy is found.
First and foremost, I am a wife, mother, daughter and sister. I love sunshine, good food and wine, and time spent with my people. I speak sarcasm fluently and would prefer you laugh first if I fall rather than ask if I’m ok. To round it all out, I’ve got the sense of humor of a twelve year old boy. I love hunting with my family and living an outdoor lifestyle. Cooking is my love language.
I believe laughing is always better than crying and sometimes that means putting your big girl panties on to find the humor in difficult situations.
I’ve tried to put that humor and my favorite lived-in feel into Roost, to create a place where everybody can find a little something they love and feel like they can stay a while. Thank you for joining me on this journey.

The Experience
At Roost General Store
Home is my favorite place to be. I wanted my store to have that same inviting, comfortable, and approachable feel found at home. I wanted to create an experience in which you can feel relaxed, have fun, and shop with ease. So that I could invite you – my #RoostGirls – into this space. With a little bit of everything, meandering through is time well spent.
My philosophy is simple: find something to laugh about, even when you feel like crying. Laughter is contagious and feeds the soul. So if something makes me smile or laugh until I cry, I bring it to you.
I find joy and comfort in the smallest things. From clothing and accessories to home goods and pantry staples. Quality items that will look good and feel good in your home and on your body.
Lived-in and comfortable. Warm and inviting. Home.
