A Forgotten Toothbrush

I forgot my toothbrush on my last trip to San Clemente and had to get creative. The hotel I stay in is all contactless, so there was no front desk staff to call for an emergency disposable toothbrush and I didn’t have my car to just drive to the store and purchase one. After panicking for several minutes over my situation and upcoming meeting, I came up with the best solution under the circumstances.

I grabbed a paper towel, wrapped it around my finger and applied toothpaste to that. Time was of the essence, trying to avoid the paper towel completely falling apart in my mouth. Fortunately for me, the paper towels in the room were cheap and scratchy. Perfect for the task at hand. It was no Sonicare experience, but it did the trick until I could Lyft to the store. Desperate times certainly call for desperate measures.
